Im the maid of honor, what should i do?!?

Well my friend is getting married and I'm the maid of honor. I've never done this before and have know clue about running a wedding. Knowing i am the maid of honor im responsible for the bachelorette party and the wedding shower. She is only 18 years old so she wont be able into clubs so i was just wondering if you guys can give me any ideas for her and her younger friends. She is really excited and nervous and being her best friend i want to do something really special and fun for her... So please help me out .. id really appreciate it .. thank you!

Go to a spa and then go to someone's house for a party.
Reply:First of all, she is way too young to get married. But since she is, for her bachelorette party you can go to a nice dinner, a show or a day trip. Shower can be a lunch at someones house. Good luck!
Reply:I'm sorry i can't think of anything... ur too young to drink and to young to go to clubs... maybe she's too young to marry. I'm 21 and i don't wanna get married b4 i'm at least 23/24. Sorry I can't help I just had to give my view. Being married from you're 18 - 80 is such a very long time.
Reply:Well, first you don't have to run the wedding. You are there to support the bride.


Some ideas:


1) Day trip to an amusement park with a stop at a favorite restaurant for the bachelorette party.


2) Have everyone over to your place, have her open her bridal shower gifts, then have a little party with food, drinks, music.


3) Find an under 21 club for the bachelorette party, get together at someone's house first, have her open her gifts and then head to the club to dance the night away! That way you can still have her wear the veil and everything.


4) Day before the wedding plan to have all the bridesmaids and the bride go to a salon and get manicures/pedicures. Call in advance and see if they will give you special group rates.

Reply:ALL IN ONE DAY :Go get tattoos together...Go for a sky dive....Slide by a bar....go get matching toe rings....


Have a water fight at the park...Then go have dinner at a fancy Indian restaurant with mud on your faces and wave a wad of money in the hostess face....Call it a day.. The next morning wake up AT the crack of dawn go for a swim..


Then go to a burger joint have milk sakes and fries and resume at a play later on in the day.......
Reply:Not ALL bachelorette parties are held inside of clubs, you know. You can have a slumber-type party for a bachelorette party. Have some games, some foods, do dress up and just have fun! It doesn't all have to be fancy unless you have the monetary funds to.





If you need serious help, you should just look up ideas on the internet. That stuff is flooding everywhere.
