I need MAJOR help with my maid of honor speech!?

I just found out i have to write my sister's maid of honor speech-- by SATURDAY! She's twelve years older and we've never been very close, so I'm not sure how to work what i should into her speech. I want to wish her a longstanding marriage, but making that last three minutes is harder than you'd guess. PLEASE somebody help me!!

go search for a long poem. or perhaps a quote that you can embellish from.
Reply:Let her know what you think of her.

Let her know what you think of her and her new husband.

Wish her happiness and a blessed marriage.
Reply:The maid of honor speech is usually sweet and a little sappy, and doesn't need to be a certain time limit at all.

Basic outline: You praise the bride, discuss how you know this couple is meant for each other, and then wish them the best.

Talk about what you admire about your sister, and in the groom.

Talk about how the couple met or how she first started telling you about the groom. Anything in their relationship or courtship that you find particularly sweet?

Wish them all good things, and ask the guests to join you in a toast.
Reply:try here hun!
