Can u get a reaction from the magnesium in minute maid orange juice, with milk allergies?

Just a week ago I have cut milk and milk products from my teen daughters diet. She had 3 great, happy, and pain free days then she started with the above plus trouble with here throut saying that her breathing tub felt smaller, needs to breath deep, and still some joint pain. The only new things I've given her are The Minute-Maid orange juice with 10% Magnesium and Soy Milk. I'm very concerned about the orange juice as my other older teen said it also gave her a tummy ache. How long does it take for a person that is allergic to milk to completely feel good? Will there be like a detox time frame? Thank you so much for reading and hope all is wonderful for you.

Maybe it's the soy milk. Loads of people are allergic or have intolerances to soy.
Reply:I don't think it's the orange juice.

Has she seen a physician?

She is having trouble breathing, short of breath and having joint pain. This does NOT sound like allergies from what you are telling me. This sounds like another type of immune system problem. Food allergies do NOT cause joint pain.

If someone is allergic to milk, then they will have stop having symptoms as long as they are not taking any milk products. So there is no detox time frame (it is immediate). Except maybe if the milk is causing eczema, it may take a few days or weeks for the eczema to get better once you stop the milk. But you did not say anything about eczema!

Bottom line-- go see a doctor because the symptoms your daughter is having (from the little information you have provided me) don't really go along with allergies. It sounds like an infection or autoimmune problem.
