WhAt Is An Old Maid With A 70's Hairdo Presenting Sport On UK TV?
I am of course talking about Gabby Logan. She has as much style as Carol Vorderman. That hairdo is straight out of a 70's Littlewoods catalogue.
WhAt Is An Old Maid With A 70's Hairdo Presenting Sport On UK TV?
Haven't a clue and they say us women are bitchy, you and dave s could give us a real run for our money, funny though! resigned, pay attention, he never said she's 70 lol!
Reply:My word you wonder what they look like sport presenters. My word you would have to see what does soccer on TV3 in Ireland a guy who must be the size of a Blue whale.
Reply:Gabby Logan is a man ......... Im sure of it ........check out her jawline if you dont believe me.
Reply:What does her hairstyle have to do with her job? She's a great presenter - better (and younger) than some of her knob colleagues - and I don't see you mention anything about THEIR age/appearance/marital status.
Reply:, So, you could do better, Poof
Reply:She isn't an old maid, she is married to a famous rugby player and she certainly isn't 70. I don't think a hairstyle affects whether someone is a good sports reporter or not.

What is wrong with me? Am I going to end up as an old maid?
I'm a 22 yr old college girl and have never been on a date. I try to start conversations with guys, such as asking a question about classwork. They just answer it and move on. It's very frustrating and confusing. I've heard from many of my girlfriends that their friends (who are guys) find me attractive or "hot", and I'll randomly find that guys who I don't know exist ask about me. This was how high school was like also. I knew of guys who thought I was good looking, but only because other people told me. The only time a guy will talk to me is if I talk to him first. I am a very friendly person, sometimes quiet, but not shy. WHY DON'T THESE GUYS APPROACH ME! (I'd like guys opinions!)
What is wrong with me? Am I going to end up as an old maid?
Go out in a large-ish group with your girlfriends and some of their guy friends so you can interact with them in a relaxed environment but without the commitment of having to have one conversation with one person. Maybe have a couple drinks too.
It just sounds like you need to loosen up a bit. And if you think the guys are intimidated, then try some self-deprecating humor, like how imperfect this or that feature or trait is. Self-deprecation works like a charm.
And if you really want to talk to somebody, TALK TO THEM. Most decent guys are terrified of talking to really attractive women because they're so used to being shot down. Maybe with you they figure they might as well not even bother to avoid the humiliation of being shot down by *you*. So maybe you'll have to break through their shell or shyness or intimidation, but apparently if you don't do it, no one will. What do you have to lose?
Reply:ur like the 40 yr old virgin lol
Reply:well may-be it`s because you are to hot. guy`s sometimes shy away from you good looking girls. or you might have a squeaky voice..
Reply:First impression and appearance are areas that attracts any person before a conversation. Attractive, hot, good looking are just some areas that guys looks at. Guys are frightful of prominent family background, prestige, reputation, high class companions, heavy makeups etc.
You may want to change your physical outlook (eg. dress, hairdo etc) and places you frequent (eg. restaurant, posh outlets) to something more down to earth that matches the guy's interests. Probably wearing jeans, miniskirts, T-shirts, simple hairdo etc. like the rest of the gurls. Go for fastfoods, pubs etc. Blend in into their activities like going to outings, mountain climbing, hiking etc. Wish you the best soon.
Reply:Relax. Nature WILL take it's course and you WILL NOT end up as an old maid.
Reply:WELL. My bf told me that (because I had the same problem as you) that he was intimidated by me. He said that I appeared snotty (even though I wasn't) because I was so shy/quiet. That is what guys think. Or they might get the energy because you are quiet that you just aren't friendly or interested. So put off a different energy, smile alot, laugh alot, and talk to them (guys) more. Look interesting. My bf said that he thought at first that I just would answer with yes or no answers and not make much conversation back (even though I thought that I was). Just try to develop a more outgoing personality is all that I can say.
Reply:Some guys get intimidated by pretty women. Stand back and think about how you show yourself. Ask yourself if you make yourself approachable? Be flirtious, guys like to be flirted with. I can't speak for all guys, but I like when a woman approaches me. Be confident as well.
Reply:If you are actually 22 and have college friends, I'm certain they would have told you to change your approach.
Stop feeling sorry forself and relax.
Reply:A lot of times guys are intimidated by how good looking you are. They probably figure you are already taken, or that maybe you are a snob because you're "hot". Even though this is not the case, I suggest you continue to be friendly and even ask a guy that you would like to date to join you for a Starbuck's or something. I think it's time for you to make the move since the guys aren't!!! Good Luck!
Reply:Guys can be intimidated by pretty girls. Especially the shy guys with good moral background. They are afraid they might say something stupid and look like an idiot.
Reply:sorry I am not a guy, but maybe I can help.
well, this could be for any number of reasons. Maybe you are annoying, maybe you are not very attractive :S (no offense, I hope!!), maybe you are going after the wrong guy. Or maybe there is nothing wrong with you and it is just not your time yet. I was a late bloomer in the dating area. My problem was mostly that I was just too darned innocent/naive to be attractive to a guy. (I am also not that pretty and shy, which also contributed. I also asked a very close friend once because I knew she would be honest, and she said I didn't meet eyes very often. So I tried to meet people's eyes more often, and it worked!). I would recommend "How to Make Anyone Fall in Love with You" by Leil Lowndes (sp). It is on Amazon. The title sounds worse than it is! :)
When I was in high school, I watched the movie "Little Women" and a quote stuck out to me: "You only need one, if he's the right one." This is so true, and I married the first man I dated. (Not becuase I was desperate and I didn't just marry "the first guy that came along." The first guy just HAPPENED to be the right guy.) So there is still definitely hope for you!! Good luck! I remember being in your shoes and wondering if it would EVER happen to me. I remember MANY tear filled nights, just wondering.
Reply:Approach Guy's you are attracted too. Guy's love it when woman
approch them!!!
Reply:Give it time. It will happen. My daughter didn't date until after she graduated from college and is now happily married with children.

Reply:Wow...That sounds very weird. I can't believe every guy is too shy to ask you out or even carry on a conversation with you. Is there something you're not mentioning? You're not obese are you or some other thing that stands out? Without ever having met you, it's hard to say what's up with this. Do you have pretty friends and do they get approached by the guys? If you do and they do then something else is awry here. Step back and see how your girlfriends react to the guys and maybe you'll find an answer there. Also ask a close friend if you got a bad rap somehow and if you did try to clear it up. It is the nature of society to gossip and that can put anybody on the "outs" for some reason. Find a friend and ask her point blank....but be prepared for honesty and be willing to change. (Change is really the yardstick of maturity). Good Luck!!
Reply:Hi Zoey. You will probably get smarter answers, but here is one from the heart. I believe there are some girls who have such a strong spirit that it almost acts like a force field that keeps boys away. This deeply feminine spirit is a beautiful, powerful, but sometimes an intimidating reality for men. It represents everything that both attracts them, but scares them at the same time. Are you lovely and desirable? Absolutely. In fact, that's part of the problem because it is exactly that part of you that generates the feminine spirit. But don't worry, just like hormones, the levels will adjust soon and all will be well. So keep on believing in yourself, Zoey. You are a rare and magical woman. The man who is not afraid of that is just around the next corner.

Try leaving some mild porn around in your room and see if she has moved it around.
Reply:Right. This place is full of people who are experienced at seducing their maids. Good call, buddy!
Reply:maybe you should hint at it so you wont affend her.....maybe by asking if shes ever had sex with one of her cilents....

If yes then u have its answer from it.
if no then watch its starting %26amp; u will get the answer.
Do not worry be strong %26amp; tell her that u r ready.
Reply:Be bold and brush against her backside and see her reaction.
If she smiles than next time get her to sweep your room and leave a condom package for her to pick up and than explain to her what it is for when you see her pick it up.
After this she will be screwing her and not the other way around.
Good luck if you do not get any other dumb answer than this is your best answer.

Pin the Tail on the Donkey, Tiddly Winks, Authors, Pit, Old Maid, Hearts, Canasta, Casino, Monopoly,?
or the Ouija board. Was one or more of these games played at your house when you were young? The "Authors" card game ( I think it was called) had pix of Longfellow, Whittier and other old time authors on the backs of the cards. The questions were: who wrote what? In 2008 I believe that few of us could play Authors let alone be interested. These days it all electronics, but in those days we had no idea of immediate gratification other than eating a popsicle or sucking on Lifesavers and yes, I realize that some consider the Ouija Board more than a game, but my Mom never had any trouble with it. Which one of these pastimes was your favorite?

Reply:I remember all of those. Monopoly was my fave board game, but I liked cards better, esp. Hearts and Canasta. I remember when my step-sister-in-law was pregnant with her second daughter, we'd play canasta for hours on end. I could barely handle the double deck. Then I learned to play Hearts. Played in college for a penny a point. I paid my sophomore year's tuition that way! But my real favorite is bridge.
Reply:As a family, when I was a kid, we played a lot of card games. We played pinocle, canasta, hearts and 500 rummy. We also played monopoly a lot and clue. My favorite game as an adult has been trivial pursuit. It is still a game I play mostly with family since my friends don't like it! My new favorite might be a game I have invented but I have no idea how to try to market it.
Reply:As a youngster, we played:
Old Maid
Jacks
Marbles
Pick Up Stix
Tiddly Winks
Checkers
Chinese Checkers...my fav.
Parchisi
My parents got together with my two aunts %26amp; two uncles every Saturday night for years %26amp; played:
Flinch
Canasta
Cribbage
Reply:BINGO
Reply:played pin the tail on the donkey, tiddly winks, old maid and hearts by the hours monopoly was a family favorite and played almost nightly.
Reply:Thanks for reminding me of Authors...I wonder if those cards are still available. On rainy days, my friends and I used to play all those games on the front porch. We also loved Clue and Go to the Head of the Class.
Reply:I have kept a lot of those games from my childhood, played them with my kids and play them now with my grandchildren. They love getting out those old games and will toss the electronic stuff aside to play "old timey" games with Gran. We play all kinds of card games, Parcheesi, Chinese checkers, regular checkers, Flinch, Uno, Old Maid, and more. We played games almost nightly when I was a kid, after the dinner dishes were done and the home work finished. My all time favorite was Flinch. I had two elderly great Aunts who loved to play Flinch and would cheat like the dickens. We always wanted to partner up with Aunt Red because she was the craftier cheater of the two.
Reply:When I was a kid we didn't play games much we were always outside playing with the neighborhood kids. All day, only came in to eat and sleep. Even in the winter.
My mom slept in the daytime because she worked the midnight shift so we stayed out so it would be quiet inside.
Reply:Choosing from your list we played Monopoly, and Old Maid.
We also played Battle with a deck of cards, Parchessi and checkers. In later years we played Clue. Chinese Checkers was our favorite. too, Shortstuff.
I'm sure the board and card game sales are at an all time low.
Reply:Authors was one of my fav games . I think I got the cards in my stocking one year. There was Mark Twain and Louisa May Alcott and Charles Dickens. I also liked my pick up stix game. I had a game for one called Hi Q and I still have it.
Oh and don't forget marbles!
Reply:My Mom %26amp; Dad used to have their friends over and they would have Canasta parties. I never learned how to play.
But I did play Cribbage everyday when I was a teen with my girlfriends dad. I also used to go up in the attic, and play with the Ouija board. I do remember it said I would die before I was 40, well I'm 60 and here I am. (knock on wood).
I also like Domino's
When I was younger it was pick-up-sticks and Jacks, and hopscotch. I almost forgot about Tiddly Winks!!!!
Card games it was usually Rummy (sometimes called Gin Rummy) And if really bored Solitaire.
Reply:Monopoly was one of our favourites but it did tend to drag after a while. Scrabble was great too but when dad could see he was loosing he would throw the board up in the air as to mess the game up resulting in having to put the game away x
Reply:Never played Hearts, Canasta or Casino but have got all the others covered plus, chinese checkers and Wahoo.
I would love to get a hold of those Authors cards, they sound very interesting.
Reply:my parents would play cards half the night with friends and relatives. Canasta and pinochle and cribbage were their games.
couple of years ago I taught my grandson cribbage and my youngest grandson has been playing cribbage since he was 7. taught by his mother.
Reply:My great-aunt taught me how to play Coddem, Shove Hapenny and Boots, Shoes, Tips and Nails. She also played card games Old Maid and Chase the Ace. Simple but fun, and I still play them with my kids now.
Reply:Monopoly; also Canasta and my 5 year old cousin was the champ. No one could beat him. :D Of course, checkers and Chinese Checkers. Twenty questions was fun. One game that was probably made up by my grandmother, called "I Spy". She would hide a thimble (usually in plain sight in the living room) and I had to look around the room and say "I spy" when I found it. Even though it was in plain sight, it was harder to find than you'd think.
Reply:my mama used to get me to play canasta w/ her.....i hated it...just sitting there wasting my time..that's the way i thought about it....boy, i wish i had played canasta more w/ her....
Reply:old maids, then monoply by the hrs
Reply:Canasta and (gasp!) Pinochle -- is is OK for a mid-20s man to play these games, lol?
I want some Author cards.
Reply:Canasta
Still play it online at http://games.yahoo.com/play/ca%26amp;cat=begin...
Note I am in the beginner section. Never was any good at that game and with age have not gotten any better. ;-) Still fun though.

Note I am in the beginner section. Never was any good at that game and with age have not gotten any better. ;-) Still fun though.
Reply:Hours and hours of Canasta!
Old Maid when I was younger.
Monopoly later.
In the car it was Twenty Questions -
"Animal, Vegetable, Mineral?"
Badminton outside.
Dodgeball at school,
and hopscotch.
Reply:Card games:

Pig

Are there any ladies who would like to be served by a 29 year old male maid?
Hi, I am genuinely looking for a lady who would be interested in allowing me to serve her domestically whilst I am dressed as a french maid. I am male aged 29 years old and live in Newcastle. I have had this burning desire for many years now and have simply not known where to look for someone who might share this interest.
Are there any ladies who would like to be served by a 29 year old male maid?
does this imply a slipped relation with the boss...?:P
Reply:I'm looking for massage - you can be dressed in anything you like,,,lol
Reply:are you hott?
Reply:Well, heck yeah. I'm from California. I would love to be served by a 29 year old french maid. I'm sure you would not have a problem finding someone to serve. My command is your wish. How soon can you get here?
