Does anyone have an O.M. or spinster in their family, and if so, why is it they never married.

Why Do Some Women Remain Spinsters/old Maids?
They might be too picky or too smart to get married. Especially these days when marriage is so temporary anyways. Some women over the age of 60-70 sacrificed for familial reasons (caretaking). Some chose a career. Some make a ton of money and don't need the "security" of marriage or a man to "take care of them". Just because they were never married, doesn't mean they didn't have friends or fun. Oprah may end up being one of these. It's neither good or bad, it is what it is.
