Maid of honor/ Dress advice?

a good friend of mine is having a cute casual summer wedding but I seem to be having problems finding a dress! like most girls i take a strong liking to forever21 and delia's style clothing. I'm a pear shaped girl and so far was looking for an empire-style dress or one with a bubble hem to flatter my figure. As far as my taste in style, i would have to say that i favor Ashlee Simpson at the moment.

i really LOVE this dress

but am thinking the cut may be a bit low and the straps too thin.

I was just looking for some good brand names, stores, or even just photo links to cute dresses that may fit into this category. any ideas are extremely helpful, as i may end up making my own dress. Thanks a lot! also, if anyone has any tips for a 19 year old maid of honor to be who has never even been to a wedding before, that would be MUCH appreciated!!

Also why don't you have the bride go with you she might have a certian color of style picked out.

Remember your duties as maid of honor

Make sure you plan the bridal shower and the bachelorette party well in advance and on wedding day have safety pins and extra lipstick for the bride or anything that the bride might need or uses often.

Have tissues and q-tips in your bag and be ready to help her with everything.
Reply:This dress doesn't have a bubble hem, but is amazing anyway. This dress is casual, but still vintage and pretty. People will be asking you which designer it came from! Plus*** it's only 30 bucks!

GL to you in your dress hunt!
Reply:y dont u try lauren conrads line, she has some casual forever 21 type things

hope i helped
Reply:Just so you know, bubble dresses really don't flatter people, empire waist dresses do though. I like the dress you picked, it's cute. I really like this dress, it's similar in some ways, but not as low cut.

Reply:The picture you showed reminds me of a nightgown so I would say no to that but go out shopping with the bride and find something that makes both of you happy and keep in mind buy something that you will wear again not something that will just hang in the closet
