An Old Maid in Granny Glasses- Why do Female Superstars Pose????

I`ve just seen a series of photos of one of the big female superstars who is never publicly seen without looking like a china doll.





Point is though this series was when she was reading for a role and she looked as she probably does when she is not posing.





Hair pulled back- tight. Granny glasses. No makeup. No smile. Sloppily dressed.





Why does Hollywood persist in adulating phonies? And why do phonies insist upon posing as sex symbols? Nastiness toward sex symbols.





Possibly it`s the duality of hating what you cannot have and do not possess. Thus you parody it.

the key is acting acting is not real acting is pretending they just pretend to more people for a longer period of time
Reply:Part of an actor's JOB is "posing"...wearing many hats as it were. If it's not hurting you, then who's business is it? Hollywood from it's inception puts out what sells...and if you don't like it, then DON'T buy it!
